Dhauliganga dam is constructed by a joint venture of Kajiima company which is a Japanese company with collaboration with Daewoo [E&C] powered by Bauer Maschinen .
two more companies which are present in this project are Hindustan Unilever and Samsung[E&c].

I generates 280 MW of hydro power.
this project is highly damaged in the great flood of 2013 in Uttarakhand , all the machinery were replaced with the new one , which affects the working for about 6 months .
the current conditions of the Dam permisesis functional . the dam is under the control of National Hydroelectric power corporation (NHPC) ltd.
the estimated cost for the dam is whooping 15,800,000,000 , which is 15 billion .
