Hey folks, our today's topic is very interesting and is related to everyone of us ,  " role of English in our life "  

English is the language of International Communication , English is one of the most common languages we had , it really helps us to communicate with people of different different regions and countries  , 

for example we can take some recent accounts if a minister from India goes to Russia for something related to diplomatic relations between two countries , so will they talk , will they talk in Hindi , i don't think so , will they talk in Russian , again no , they will talk in English both countries are familiar with the language and are comfortable in this language .


for many reasons English is used as a tool to ease the operations worldwide .


English is the language of business 

  

English is the language of business , as English is strongly spread in the times of colonial period , when united kingdom make colonies in various countries then their language also spread from one place to another , and in nowadays united kingdom and united states of America are the top economies of the world and offer a great opportunity to start and flourish the business . 

There are many multi national companies where English is mandatory for their Employees to have a job in the company . as English is the most widespread language .

And that is why fluency in English is very much taken in consider for a job in MNC  . 

Global companies such as Airbus , Daimler-Chrysler , Fast retailing , Nokia , Renault , Samsung ,SAP , Technicolor and Microsoft in Beijing have mandated English as their official corporate language .

Research  from all over the world shows that cross - border business communication is most often conducted in English and many international companies expect employees to be fluent in English .

English in INDIA

English is an essential communication language in India . ( central government to state government ) and ( state to state government )if you look beyond the border of state ( no matter which ) English is necessary  , It is also the respected language in private / Corporate / banking sectors in India .

English acts as a linking language in our country , as in India we have more than 19500 mother tongue .

if we abolish English will adversely affect the office work . most of the office employees know English but not all know any other language other than their mother tongue or regional language .

 
   

English in life of an Indian Students

 

The importance of English in Education and student's life cannot be denied . English remains a major medium of teaching and instruction in school  . There are many books in English , and if we abolish English it will greatly affect our education system and coming generation lacks in academics and other relation with many countries  . all the work is very hard and time - consuming indeed .

students who want to go abroad for education will have learn to English well . if their command over English is poor , then they may face difficulty in adjusting with the alien environment .

For a developing country like India , it is essential to be in constant intercourse with other countries .
reason is some of Indian states are against Hindi particularly dravian states are opposing  it because they believe that it was of Aryan origin . 

How English came to India ?

traces for English came from 17th century  when English  business persons came to Indian subcontinent  for trade . but even after they left India , we are using English , as one of the official language of our country .

Around 200 years of English Rule had a great impact on India , as a Uneducated person can also speak and understand some words of English . their mother tongue is mixed with English .

1. The Constitution of India designates English and Hindi as the official languages of the Government of India.  

2.   English is the official language of the Supreme Court and High Court according to  Constitution of India.

3.  all pilots have to speak in English while flying, no matter what is their origin.

4.  India is the world's second-largest English speaking country. but , there are only 10% people in India who Know English . 

5. English is more widely spoken in southern India than northern India  because southerners are not comfort to use Hindi and find Hindi of Dravidian origin  .
